Dr Catherine Hart has established a distinguished career as a Clinical Psychologist; Clinical Consultant; Supervisor and Trainer. She has over 10 years experience in the field of mental health, having worked both in the UK and Australia. She holds an Honours Degree in Psychology; a Post Graduate Diploma in Criminological Psychology; a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Psychology as well as a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. Catherine is a member of the Australian Psychological Society; The APS College of Clinical Psychologists and is registered with the Psychologist Registration Board of Victoria. Catherine has given expert witness testimony to the Crown and Magistrate Courts, has contributed to texts on Mental Health and Learning Disability; and has appeared on TV and in Magazines consulting on psychological issues.
Catherine is an endorsed supervisor to other psychologists and provides cost effective services under Medicare.

Catherine specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); and is an Intensively Trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapist (DBT). She uses evidence based practice and a strong therapeutic bond with her clients to help them fulfill their potential.
Catherine has a strong interest and clinical background in researching and treating health conditions which can result in chronic pain, such as Guillain Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes and general muscular-skeletal injuries. She has written and lecturers on a Bachelor of Health Science course in the area of persistent pain and its treatment.
Catherine has also worked for many years with individuals who have been diagnosed with a personality disorder and is an Intensively Trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapist.
