Frequently Asked Questions

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates are available to you. Medicare provides rebates for 10 individual and 10 group sessions per calendar year. If you wish to apply for the Medicare rebates you will need to make an appointment with your GP to complete a Mental Health Care Plan assessment. There will be an out of pocket gap between the Medicare rebate and my fee.

Fees and Rebates

Catherine is a registered Medicare provider. Rebates may apply to sessions and for clients referred by a GP or a psychiatrist with a Mental Health Plan, the gap is approximately $65 per session. Private health insurance rebates may also be available to you.

Please contact me for any queries regarding fees for other services e.g. supervision, classes and training.
