What will the first session be like?

The first session will be used to get to know you, understand your goals, answer any questions and create space to ensure you feel comfortable with the psychologist and approach.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can access this service without a referral and engage as a private client.

What if I need to reschedule the appointment?

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Please email admin@hartpsychology.com.au.  Note: a cancellation fee may be charged if the appointment is cancelled with less than 2 business days notice.

Do you accept veterans?

Yes, we accept DVA White and Gold Cards. 
Indiana has experience working with current serving ADF members, and understands the defence culture.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will vary depending on your goals. Your psychologist will discuss this with you during the initial sessions once your goals and treatment plan are known.

What type of therapy will my psychologist use?

Your psychologist will only ever use evidence-based therapeutic approaches which best respond to your presenting concern and align with your treatment goals.

Do you offer face to face appointments?

No, at this time our service is delivered purely through telehealth to provide great access to clients across Australia.
